  1. Hey, just thought I would let everyone know that I was making this project as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, and after about $100 and 12 hours spent on it, I broke the heart into 4 pieces when I was doing the final glue-up…. so if anyone else decides to make this, be careful not to crank down your clamps too hard! I'll return to my misery now.

  2. Steve, have watched your channel for a while now and finally purchased the GRR-Riper. It's just great! I'm must less apprehensive when using my table saw, especially for thin or tight cuts that might be problematic without this safety device. Your projects look fun, even if I don't do them, I'm learning something. One word of advice though: Stop hand holding your camera, please.

  3. G'day from Australia Steve. After my initial foray into woodworking I discovered your channel and because of it, one of my first purchases was a GRR-Ripper, a purchase which I've never regretted as I still have all of my digits and intend to retain them for many years to come!!!

  4. Would you mind doing the same project without the forcner bit and belt/spindle sander? Just the bandsaw, glue, clamps and hand sanding? For complete noobs. I only had those basics and is was a lil tough figuring the process out. Fun for me but for others it might be easier to get into it with a little extra help.
